Veterinary Business Valuation: The Irresistible Practice Profile

August 15, 2015 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Veterinary Business Valuation

There may never be a better time to sell your veterinary practice, nor a better time to understand the basics of veterinary business valuation and how you can dramatically improve your practice’s sale price.

We're very lucky to have Rich Lestor, CEO of Veterinary Practice Partners on hand to assist with understanding practice valuation from a corporate perspective. Mr. Lestor speaks nationally on the topic, most recently at this year's AVMA convention in Boston
We’re very lucky to have Rich Lestor, CEO of Veterinary Practice Partners on hand to assist with understanding practice valuation from a corporate perspective. Mr. Lestor speaks nationally on the topic, most recently at this year’s AVMA convention in Boston

I am extremely pleased to partner with Rich Lester, CEO of Veterinary Practice Partners at this year’s PVMA Keystone Conference to offer 3 hours of training on how corporations and private equity groups value your practice and what you can do as practice owners and managers to improve your veterinary business valuation.

Veterinary Business Valuations…What People Will Pay Has Never Been Higher

As practice owners, you may have recently recognized that bids for your veterinary business have ramped up a bit as competition for marketshare within our industry heats.  More academic approaches to practice value may no longer be applicable.  Veterinary practices with high gross revenue may dominate the offers-scene despite lack luster net profit margins and shatter the old paradigm that EBITDA is king.  A more detailed look at the thinking process that informs this kind of approach to practice buying is explored in this lecture.

And practice managers, don’t be shy about attending.  In fact, I insist upon it.  As you will come to understand from the lecture material, managing a practice from a veterinary business valuation perspective is crucial for a maximum business valuation and sales price.  While Mr. Lester’s lecture material may seem to center more on the practice owner, he means for everyone in the practice to work towards a high business valuation and that means that your participation is essential.  For my part, I will run down the top ten management practices that you can go back to your practice and immediately implement to make a meaningful impact on practice value.

Learn more about Veterinary Business Valuation after the Conference.  It’s free!

Best of all, this material will be followed by a free online course to assist you with better understanding the concepts of veterinary business valuation and how to sketch out an idea of your practice’s value on your own.

So please join Bash Halow Veterinary Business Consultant in scenic, Hershey Pennsylvania for this year’s PVMA Keystone Conference!  Feel free to review the rest of the tracks that I’m working on…including one with good pal and dental technician extraordinaire, Vickie Byard, VTS!
