(Keep in mind that while doctors DO get credit for a variety of services and products, the AMOUNT of production allotted to them for individual products and services is not consistent across the board)
DO give doctors credit for:
Exams
Sx (that they do)
Anesthesia
Dentals (in hospitals where techs do the cleaning, the charge for Scaling and Polishing is given to OTC)
Hospitalization
Treatments
Vaccinations
Consultations
X-rays
Laboratory
Euthanasia
Flea/Tick/Heartworm sold in the room only
Rx dispensed at an office visit (not on refills without an exam)
Rx diets sold in the room
Dental Products sold in the room
Nutraceuticals/shampoos/nutritional supplements sold in the room
International Health Certificates
Echos and Ultrasounds (In some practices, doctors only get 50% of these)
Do NOT give doctors credit for:
Blood collection
Tech time
Baths/grooming
Boarding
Med Waste Fee
Equipment charges (pump fees, bear hugger fees, etc)
Cremations
OTC products not sold in the room
Refills without an exam.
Any non prescription food items whether or not they are suggested in the room.
Prescription diet refills (with or without an exam)
New Client Set Up Fee
Held Check fees and any other administrator papers
Additional Tech Support
Fluid Monitoring and Care
Domestic Health Certificates
